Photodynamic Therapy

These can be addressed with PDT/IPL which is used as adjuvant therapy in combination with other treatments. In this broad spectrum pulse light is transmitted through a continuously cooled applicator gently placed over the skin. The light penetrates the tissue and is absorbed by relevant chromophores and damages them leading to decrease in active acne lesions. This will take care of acne and pigmentation.

Usually it is combined with other modalities of treatment to get better results. Multiple sessions are required at 3 weeks apart.
